Many modern-day prophets, including Lance Wallnau and Mark Taylor, prophesied Trump would be like King Cyrus of the Bible.
The prophet Isaiah wrote: “Thus says the Lord to Cyrus, His anointed, whose right hand I have held—to subdue nations before him and to loosen the loins of kings, to open doors before him so that the gates will not be shut: I will go before you and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and shatter the bars of iron. And I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places so that you may know that I, the Lord, who calls you by your name, am the God of Israel” (Isa. 45:1-3).

I understand this object lesson to mean that church and state are to remain separate. By referring to the image of Caesar, Jesus also alludes to the commandment about images:
Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above. . .
This was a direct rebuke to Caesar or other pretenders to divine honors. And it remains a warning against confusing the authority of an earthly ruler with the authority of God.
